These are the main axes on which the development of San Patricio has been based:
1. Sustainable Approach: Our project is based on economic, social and environmental strategies that guarantee healthy and orderly development in the long term.
2. Preservation of streams and ravines: We prioritize the conservation and protection of the streams present in the intervention area. We implemented a remediation plan that includes the planting of native species to stabilize the slopes, recover the natural landscape and strengthen the environmental services of the streams.
3. Forest level and landscaping: We build and adapt public green areas with a focus on planting native species. We implement low-maintenance sustainable landscaping that contributes to CO2 filtration, O2 production, providing shade and cooling for its users. With public green areas, we create an ecological step where urban development is integrated with the ecosystem factors of nature, creating environmental services for birds and pollinating insects essential for a healthy ecosystem.
4. Forest thinning: We carry out selective felling of diseased, dry or dead trees in an exotic eucalyptus forest to prevent forest fires and encourage the growth of native trees in the area, carrying out reforestation campaigns.
5. Urban Trees: We plant native trees both in public parks and on public roads, providing shade, regulating temperature and contributing to the urban landscape.
6. Separate public sewer networks: We implement specific sewage systems to separate rainwater from wastewater, guaranteeing proper management of water resources.
7. Saving water resources: We use eco-efficient irrigation systems by collecting rainwater in public parks in order to optimize water use.
8. Long term planning: The project has been planned in phases over time, ensuring orderly and sustainable development that meets the needs of the population and the environment.
